TIFF Junction

TIFF Junction includes a sophisticated OCR engine enabling conversion of TIFF images to searchable PDFs.  The product also provides the ability to split and merge TIFF files (from single page to multi-page and vice versa) and creation of image-only PDFs from TIFFs.

The product may be used as command line tool (for manual use or inclusion in scripts).  An alternative for developers requiring integration into .Net applications is our OCR SDK for .Net which supports OCR C# and OCR VB.Net

TIFF Junction is designed as a workstation product - for server use we recommend our Autobahn DX product which is designed for high volume OCR PDF server-based processing.

TIFF Junction's OCR engine, capable of processing thousands of pages per hour is used to recognise text from source TIFF and Image-Only PDF files and to create Searchable PDF files.

In addition, an option exists to create text files from the recognised text.
